Open House 

Since January 2007, the City has been updating its TSP. Since that time, over 100 citizens have participated in a series of in-depth Working Groups and have identified various policies, plans, and projects that will improve Milwaukie's transportation system. The Open House displayed their recommendations in one location for the very first time and the public was invited to review and comment on these recommendations. In addition to the July 12 Open House, the display boards were made available for viewing at the Milwaukie Farmer's Market on Sunday, July 15, and through this web site. See "Recommendations" section below.

What Happens Next? 

The adoption process will require public hearings before both the Planning Commission and City Council. The City Council is the final decision-maker on TSP adoption because it is a legislative action. Their decision is expected in December 2007. Members of the public are welcome to observe and participate in all public TSP adoption proceedings.
