Clearwater Project Approved - Kellogg Treatment Plant to Be Decommissioned

The Clackamas County Commissioners approved the Clearwater Project for consolidation of wastewater treatment in North Clackamas County at their regularly scheduled meeting of Sept. 1. 

While the consolidation strategy will result in a number of regional economic and environmental benefits, what is of particular importance to the City of Milwaukie is that the implementation of the Clearwater Project will lead to the decommissioning and removal of the Kellogg Treatment Plant from the City's Riverfront.
