Primary Function:
Operation and maintenance of (70 miles) 369,600 feet
of public sanitary sewers, 1500 manholes, and 5 sewer lift
stations.
Primary Sources of Revenues:
The Wastewater Dvision’s main source of revenue is wastewater user fees
Wastewater user fees can only be used to operate, maintain, and improve the wastewater
system
SDC charges are collected from the developers and homeowners
SDC funds can only be used to improve the wastewater system
Interest from investments, rents and other sources

Divisions GOALS:
Continue regular sewer line cleaning and inspection
Use information from inspections for on the spot pipe rehabilitation to
minimize wastewater back-ups, ongoing analysis of the wastewater system components
and capital needs assessment
Complete a new sewage treatment agreement with Water Environment
