The business registration, commonly misnamed business license, is a tax imposed by the city council. A business registration is required of all businesses operating within the city limits, whether a store or a home-based business. Every business irregardless if for profit, not-for-profit or door-to-door solicitation is required to apply for a business registration. The annual amount is a standard base fee of $110.00 plus $5.00 per owner or each full-time employee. Once your business is in the database, an annual renewal form will be mailed to the address provided during the first week in December.
