Milwaukie Riverfront Park

Marking another major leap in realizing the long-term goal of reclaiming one of the most beautiful views of the Willamette River and building a park to draw people from around the region to enjoy it, construction of Phase II of Milwaukie Riverfront Park began in June 2014. A Grand Opening Ceremony was held on May 1, 2015.

Free Public Cell Phone Recycling

The City of Milwaukie has been recycling its old cell phones and other electronics for many year and now members of the public can do their part too. Cell phone recycling collection boxes have been setup at the Library, City Hall and Public Works and anyone can bring in their cell phones, batteries and charges to these drop off spots. This is a free service to the public with the City's partnership with The Wireless Alliance, and you can be sure that the equipment will be responsibly re-used or recycled.
