Check Out City’s New Light Rail Q & A Section

The City launched a new section on this website to answer questions and clarify positions that have come up during the course of the Portland to Milwaukie Light Rail conversation.

The site lists comments and questions that have been raised at public meetings and offers responses that provide factual information to clarify those questions and comments. The site will be updated as the conversation continues, and visitors will have the opportunity to send additional questions to the City’s Information Coordinator, Grady Wheeler.

Some of the common themes that have emerged pertain to how the project would be funded, how safety and security would be addressed, and what the project’s scale would be here in Milwaukie.
