Riverfront Board Forging Ahead With Park Design

On March 14th the Riverfront Board sat down with a panel of experts to talk about design ideas for Milwaukie Riverfront Park. 

Members of the panel included accomplished landscape architects, planning professionals and members of the Oregon Marine Board. 

The objective is to arrive at a plan that provides a variety of uses for a variety of interests and integrates the data collected from the citizen surveys collected last winter. 

The Riverfront Board will tour several parks in the area with boat ramps within the next month to gather ideas for integrating boating facilities into park spaces. 

A Riverfront Board report is expected to be delivered to Council in May regarding a final concept plan for the park.
