Council Resumes Saturday Sit-downs With Community Members

Council resumes Saturday sit-downs with community members City Council will resume it's "Coffee With Council" meetings this Saturday on February 11th, at 9 a.m. in the City Hall Conference Room. These meetings offer City Councilors and members of the community to sit down in a more relaxed setting so all who participate can have a more free-flowing conversation about City issues. 

The idea was born from the idea that the time constraints and atmosphere of Council meetings and work sessions don't necessarily promote an open dialogue among Councilors and fellow residents. These Saturday meetings are open to the public, and citizens are strongly encouraged to participate. 

Meetings are held the second Saturday of every month and begin at 9 a.m. The Coffee With Council meetings usually take place at the Public Safety Building, but due to a scheduling conflict, February's meeting is being held at City Hall.
