![]()
The first ever Fall Into Art festival will take place at North Clackamas Park in Milwaukie on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 16th and 17th and will feature the works of the region’s finest artisans, live music and activities for children.
Headline musicians on Saturday in the Sara Hite Memorial Rose Garden are the Paul deLay Quartet, Robbie Laws, and Richard Day Reynolds. Entrance to the event is a $2 suggested donation to the North Clackamas County Meals on Wheels program. More music continues on Sunday. Vendors' booths full of art and crafts - including a children's art pavilion - will fill the area outside the Milwaukie Center, 5440 SE Kellogg Creek Dr., Milwaukie. The festival is sponsored and created by the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District, Clackamas County and the North Clackamas Arts Guild to support arts in the community and showcase the park, the Sarah Hite rose garden, community center and to benefit the Meals on Wheels program.
Artwork and vendors are still being accepted for the event. Visit the Web site at www.fallintoart.com or call (503) 653-8100. A judged fine arts show presented by the North Clackamas Arts Guild kicks off the weekend Friday evening, Sept. 15th, at 7 p.m. in the Milwaukie Center.
The main festival begins on Saturday, at 10 a.m. and runs until 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17th, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information call (503) 653-8100 or e-mail parks@co.clackamas.or.us.
