Annie Ross House Invites You to Celebrate Its Anniversary

The Annie Ross House invites community members to join its 20th Anniversary Open House event at Abernethy Center, 606 15th St., Oregon City, on Wednesday, Sept. 20th, 2006 , from 4 to 7 p.m. 

The Annie Ross House provides a home-like setting and support services to 11 homeless families (Dads, Moms, children of all ages) at a time. To date 1200+ families have benefited from shelter self-sufficiency services. Eligibility is determined by application and interview by Clackamas County Social Services in Oregon City (503-650-5750). 

The Open House will honor individual “Luminaries” who bring light, warmth, hope and goodness to the shelter’s family program. Refreshments will be provided and live music will be performed by the youth group, “String Connection.” 

At 5 p.m. “Home is Where the Heart Is,” a video featuring courageous stories of families sheltered at Annie Ross House, will premiere. These families’ accomplishments will inspire as will volunteer, donor, and staff commitment.
