Night Work Scheduled on Highway 224

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is working to improve Highway 224 between the I-205 interchange and 17th Avenue.

Improvements include paving and striping; new median barriers, guardrails and bridge joints; upgrades to pedestrian crossings and signals; new sidewalk improvements from Harrison to Oak Street; and two new water quality swales. 

Night work will begin Saturday, July 16th and work will generally start around 7:00pm and go until 5:30am. The night construction hotline is (503) 412-2325 in case there are problems to report. Please expect lane closures and delays.
