Milwaukie Riverfront Park Plan Concept - Survey

Dear Milwaukie Resident… 

Milwaukie is on the move! The McLoughlin Boulevard project and the North Main Village, currently under construction, are just two examples of major projects underway in the City right now. We'd like to build on the momentum of these highly visible projects by moving forward on a final design for our Riverfront Park. 

Before committing the City to a final design for the Riverfront, we'd like you to tell us what you envision for this area. 

That is, when you go to Milwaukie's Riverfront, what do you want to do? 

On this page you will see several images. The first is a current photo of the Riverfront. Following this you will see two concept plans, developed for the Riverfront Board by Landscape Architect Gill Williams of David Evans and Associates. Gill donated his time and expertise to develop these concepts for your review and input. While both are in no way final and will undergo a good deal of refinement, we still want to know which option you prefer. Most importantly, we want to know what you want to DO at the Riverfront and if the elements included in these concepts will allow you to do that. If not - tell us what we need to change. The City will hold a pair of Open Houses, one in October and another in November, to talk about how this project has evolved over the years, the recent efforts that have brought it to the forefront, and how public input will shape its future.
