City of Milwaukie Construction Projects

Commercial and Residential Construction in the City of Milwaukie:

LEWELLING COMMUNITY PARK

Located at 9781 SE Stanley Avenue. This .93 acre site was purchased by the City of Milwaukie in 1999 and a final plan for the site was approved by Planning Commission in 2003. To date, using funds from the neighborhood association and CDBG funds from the County, half street improvements have been completed and the site has been graded and seeded in preparation for the next step in its development. In 2005, City staff and the Lewelling NDA will submit a grant application to the Oregon Department of Parks and Recreation for funds to install irrigation, landscape the site and install a picnic gazebo, a path, benches, play equipment and a park sign. If the grant is approved, work on the site will begin in the fall of 2005.
